Congrats Hofstra on UNC win. You had few forced errors and looked like a team for the tournament. Is your goalie erratic? He looked good today. Your D blocked multiple shots for him too.

Watched more the first half than the second half.
Game should be available for replay on Lax Sports Network.

Thought Concannon looked more like the pre season 1st team All American goalie, in the first half.
Course Concannon and that defense go hand in hand.

24 goals allowed so far, in 4 games.

For my money, the star of the game was Kyle Gallagher, one of four St. Anthony's players to see the field today for Hofstra. UNC had no answer for Gallagher at the x, and his performance, especially in the first half, helped Hofstra get ahead and stay there.

G Jack Concannon, another St. Anthony's alum, anchored the defense, which allowed a D1-leading average of only six goals.

def is playing great , we r not allowing teams to out muscle us towards the goal and the ground ball attitude was off the charts against a very good team and a likely ncaa playoff participant, monmouth is gonna test us

Another nor'easter is scheduled to hit Long Island on Tuesday, when Monmouth is scheduled to come to the Dutch Dome. Will this storm lead to another postponement/cancellation?

Monmoth is an important game for local rivalry purposes.
But wouldn’t be the worst thing if this game got cancelled.
It’ll give the team a week to prep for Providence and Lehigh.

I really hope they don’t try to play that game.
Feels like a disaster waiting to happen.

I felt from start to finish No One could of beat Hofstra Sat. It Starts with Alex and ends with Jack. But on this day it could of been worse(or better) except their Goalie made some terrific saves in the 1st 1/2. Walked out of there Proud of the Players (All of you) and coaches for such a dominant performance. NC was quiet all day - stunned. The final score - not Justice. Great Game.

Congratulations to G Jack Concannon, CAA Player of the Week:

Hofstra has the #1 defense in D1, and Concannon is a big reason why.

Ugghh.
Knew this was going to be ugly.
I have a tough time seeing what is to be gained from games like this.
I guess, a local rivalry, so it can’t just be cancelled.
