CAA 2010

The CAA will have a new look for 2010. Below are the 6 teams and their 2009 record. Hofstra is probably the team to beat. Who are the 4 who get into the CAA tourney? Who makes it the the NCAAs?

Hofstra (11-4)
Penn State (9-5)
UMass (9-6)
Drexel (7-8)
Towson (7-10)
Delaware (5-10)

Teams that make the CAA playoffs this year go as follows by seating: 1)Hofstra 2) Towson 3/4) Penn State/Drexel/Umass.
Hofstra lost a couple key players last year but have a bunch of great talent on the team coming in at the one spot. Towson who a lot of people will over look, had a great end to their season last year and did not graduate much of their productivity and added some new guys into the fold. I dont think Deleware can put things together from last year and the last two spots will be fought for by the remaining 3 teams. I think Hofstra and Towson will both make the tournament this year. Hofstra will put together another good year and Towson has arguably one of the hardest schdules this year and will use that to their advantage, coming up with some big wins

You can't compare TU's schedule with some of the other CAA teams last year and this year.

But expect TU to be in the CAA and NCAA.

Tell me what about that schedule doesn't make it worthy of one of the hardest in the country this year. I'm glad you are with me on our tigers having a good season though :D

Holy cow! Who is the maniac who set up Towson's schedule? The Tigers will have to play their butts off just to finish at .500.

Well there's no doubt Seaman's scheduling will put them in the top 10 on Strength.

That still doesn't convince me that the Tigers are above Penn State. It could happen and I'd actually like to see Towson bust out of the pack.

Perhaps, I don't know much about Penn State. But I do know they lost a starting All American goalie in Drew Adams. Usually those types of players are hard to replace
