What does everyone think of the recruits coming in?
Will it be a faceoff by committee?
Wheeler in goal?
Defense get better?
Attack? Should Stratton get the ball more?
Seaman on the hotseat. CAA loses Villanova, Robert Morris, Sacred Heart and they get replaced with Penn State and Umass.
Navy back on the schedule.
Predictions?

Man what a tough schedule again, adding Navy. Hopefully some of the youngsters will grow up on attack. They have to improve that 2nd unit on midfiled.

Stan Ross would be in the mix also, but any decision on a change originates w/Coach Seaman.

Any change to the coaching line-up at Towson after next year is the decision of Towson's administration; if Tony is asked to coach after next year, then it will be up to him to accept or decline the offer.

My comment was a follow on to the comment about Coach Tony going to Penn and not general in nature.

Should Stratton get the ball more ? This guy may have been the greatest High school player in PA. History but he never played against the best.( MIAA or the new yorkers) Its showing. Now Stratton is going to be a Junior and still hasn't delivered. 16 goals last season he had 546 high school points. Its time to step up and get it done at this level. What about Sean Maguire. Is he back this season ?

OTOH -- Pete Poillon came from a similar background and he came through pretty well, so lets see what happens this year. But I'd sure like to see the ball in his hands as much as possible.
It would be unfair to compare Stratton to PA players like Peter Scott, Kyle Barrie, Bill Miller or, most obviously, Kyle Wharton.

Did I see that Tony recently obtained a commitment from a rising senior attackman who is 5'6" tall and weighs 135 lbs?? If so, what is he thinking??? With the schedule getting more and more competitive each year, the kid will get killed.

Amazing Does this guy ever look at the talent all around him. The MIAA is in his back yard but he finds these special attackman and middies that are 5'6 135 lbs. Mcqire and Lamon are going to miss big McCutcheon. With no big inside presents those attackman will be presured outside and pushed hard. But who will those guy bring the ball to. Is this the inside finisher we have been waiting for?Thats right your 5'6 135 lbs rising senior. I believe Nadaleen has done most of the recruiting over the past few years, why doesn't anyone mention that?

I really am confused. I've been reading these boards now for the past few years and watching Coach Seaman get bashed for not going further with all the talent that he has recruited on the team. Now he is being bashed for not being able to recognize talent and for not being able to recruit proper talent. Am I missing something?

I think Coach S hit the two hotbeds this year. He has a number of kids from long island and Maryland. And he has two very good verbals from Long Island set for next year. Hopefully they are good and athletic and he lets them run.

the 5'6 attackman he recruited is pretty good, yes hes small but hes very quick and creative with the ball, i think he is a legacy as well, so that could have helped him.
