2010 Draft

All,

Now that I find myself in the absolute cellar, I need to hear a justification why the last place team does not have the first round draft pick. It seems that the only meaningful "ranking" is the 2010 Lacrosse ranking--points potential per team for the upcoming season. If someone's team had a poor record last season, they should get the first round draft pick, and the next best team gets the second round draft pick, etc. Or we simply add the 2009 season record (18 points for 1st place, 17 points for 2nd place, ....) to the 2010 Lacrosse points potential to arrive at an order which fair for the teams that had low points. The team with the lowest sum picks first since they have the least potential to produce points in the coming season.

Any other type of random reshuffling is not adding parity in my opinion. Just my 2 cents since my team absolutely s*** the bed last year.

The league philosophy is to try and mirror NCCA ball (and not fantasy football leagues, pro sports, etc.). If you were the worst team in D1 ball, you'd, so to speak, pick last.
