Senate investigation is starting to release some different findings than the House committee in some initials reports, unsurprisingly.

Nunes should face an ethics investigation.

You know that blocked number Don Jr can’t remember? Nunes could have found that out. Gowdy. Jordan. King. They didn’t want to know. Or they already know. These are American Congressmen?

Update to the movie title.

By that weekend, as a result of consultations within these government agencies, Strzok was headed to London. While preparing, he teased Page that he’s “partial to any woman sending articles about how nasty the Russians are” — the rest of his text is redacted. After Page’s heavily redacted reply about how the Russians “are probably the worst. Very little I finding redeeming about this. Even in history. Couple of good writers and artists I guess,” Strzok raged in a heavily redacted reply, “f***ing conniving cheating savages. At statecraft, athletics, you name it. I’m glad I’m on Team USA.”

.. ...the unredacted texts will make a great narrative for the forthcoming movie,
titled -- Crossfire Hurricane : a Deep State Takedown

A Coen Bros production. Screenplay by Michael Horowitz.

The storyline is developing :

The mysterious Maltese professor befriends Papadop & fills him with Russian disinformation, offering HRC emails.
An excited Papadop gets drunk & spills the beans to the Aussie Amb, who tips off the FBI through diplomatic channels.
The FBI dispatches Special Agent Strzok to London to interview the Amb.
An excited FBI launches Operation Crossfire. Closely held, but Brennan's in the loop.
This gives Brennan reason to take the Steele dossier to Harry Reid, who sends a letter to the FBI asking them to investigate. This all somehow leaks to the press.
It supposedly provides sufficient corroboration of the dossier to justify FISA warrant(s) & numerous unmaskings of FISA intercepts.

It might also have been the 74 points of contact the Trumps had with Russians that we know of so far. The sig intel, the money trail, the moles, the constant lying about all of it...
Hey, heads up, Ray Donovan Cohen asked the Qataris for a million bucks up front. Patriots from top to bottom here.

He can be an unindicted coconspirator. He can be impeached. His children can be indicted. Or he and his campaign can be cleared.

Where have you been, cradle?

I don't know of anyone on the anti-Trumpster side of LP who would be surprised at all if Mueller decided to not test the question of whether a sitting President could be indicted or not. Everyone knows that it's been DOJ policy for decades, though Ken Starr came to a different legal conclusion (yet didn't indict).

We all got the lectures on here, early on, that indictment (while sitting) would not be the likely path for Mueller, regardless of how egregious the crimes.

The Constitution provides an alternative path, again long discussed on here.

That does not apply to subpoenas as that indeed has been tested (during Watergate) and SOTUS came down firmly on that question. The President is not above the law.

It's arguable about whether a President may be indicted. There are scholars who believe SOTUS would say yes. But there are others who say perhaps not, and better to use the clearly provided Constitutional process. And some say yes to indictment, but no to (other than impeachment) trial (due to disruption to duties). Indictment may be available in order to preserve statute of limitations.

But no one says that the President post service is immune from prosecution. IE post end of term(s) or post impeachment.

Trinity is correct that Trump, (like Nixon) can be "an unindicted coconspirator". Certainly his children and cronies can be indicted and go to jail. And he can be impeached.

So, no heads would spin if Mueller has decided that he will follow past policy of avoiding indictment whileTrump is serving as POTUS.

But, do we even really know that's the case? We have Rudy's word for it??? Yikes, he's far from credible at this point.

Why would Mueller even say so to Rudy at this point?

Now, if we're making predictions ala your "Impeaching him will probably never happen", which are basically just uninformed bets, I'll take the other side of that wager.

I think we're eventually going to see a bunch of indictments getting closer and closer to DJT, and "unindicted coconspirator" etc. and eventually a referral to Congress.

My hunch is that referral won't happen this summer and, if not, Mueller will hold until post mid-terms. That doesn't mean that more indictments won't happen in the meantime and that more revelations won't roll out as a result.

Mueller's not posturing or leaking, indeed nothing at all for the cameras. What we learn is from leaks from the White House back biting, defense counsel of various players, and the actual legal filings. The actual legal filings are what we should pay closest attention to as this goes along.

Whether Trump will actually deserve impeachment or not, remains to be seen, but I don't think Mueller would refer for such if there aren't very real crimes. And shame on R's who don't impeach if that's the case.

Add this one to the impeachment wish list. I'm sure the public is outraged about Trump's reporting of how his lawyer paid off the porn star shake down.

Democratic IT Staffers Made Thousands of Unauthorized Logons to Congressional Systems

https://m.theepochtimes.com/inspector-g ... 22089.html

This story is ramping back up. Which may force the Democrats hand in turning over a bunch or data they likely do not want seen.

Investigation should be wrapping up soon. It's just getting too close to Obama and HRC. Remember, Classified material in this investigation has nothing to do with National Security, it has everything to do with Political Security.
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself. Livy

In about 20 years, rational people are going to realize that there is no such thing as a winning move for the FBI in either case.

Here's some unasked for advice: Hey Hillary, don't use your own damn email system, that you know is wrong, and then whine and complain when it bites you in the butt.

Hey Trump, don't take money or financing from Russians...they're all corrupt when you're dealing with the 1% over there. Don't let your people meet with Russian spies at hotels under your watch. And for firetruck's sake, don't fire the guy investigating you.

There isn't a winning move for the FBI, regardless of who is in charge. Go ahead and try and come up with one. Investigate, don't investigate. Tell the public too much, don't tell the public too much. Leak, don't leak. Everyone can come up with a spin or a tinfoil hat theory no matter what choices you make.

And no, it doesn't help to text about politics or cases.

You’re still discussing the nonsense investigation of Hillary’s email?

You do realize that reports in recent days suggest that Mueller is investigating the Trump clan for BRIBERY by foreign governments?
