Always warms my heart to see a first team almost entirely comprised of, with the exception of Wolf, an overrated bunch of Mammoths that didn't show up in the postseason and faded hard down the stretch.

Recount & be sure to check the hanging chads....surely a couple votes were missed for a player or two from outside the NESCAC?

Players nominated by their coach.
All Coaches in New England have the opportunity to vote.

If your guy didn't get listed, tell your coach to do his job and nominate, or tell your guy to play better.

I would have loved to see Riehl and Rodgers on the first team, since they both deserved it, but understand there are many greats and folks seem to focus too much on stats alone. Players from teams in the middle of the pack will struggle to make first team, especially on the O end of the field.
But a Freshman defenseman on a team that struggled to limit goals over a senior who really is one of the best in NESCAC is hard to swallow.
Congrats to all, many great names in there.

Congratulations to all the tremendous players on the All-New England Team. The greatest accomplishment however goes to the #1 TEAM in New England THE WESLEYAN CARDINALS. That's two years in a row that THE WESLEYAN CARDINALS have been the best TEAM which of course is the goal of every player on every team.

Congratulations to THE WESLEYAN CARDINALS for yet another season as the #1 TEAM.
