W&L Lacrosse Great, Tommy Keigler, Passes Away

Tommy "KEIGS" Keigler, the greatest defensemen at Washington & Lee, and maybe in the game of college lacrosse, passed away after a long battle with brain cancer. Words cannot say how much this guy meant to Washington & Lee lacrosse. You may remember his son Will played in Lexington as well.

RIP KEIGS!!!

Very sad. He was the best stick-handling defenseman I have ever seen. Condolences to his family.

Very sad. Such a great guy. My deepest condolences to the Keigler family.

Interestingly, he was one of the last players, at least that I saw, to play with a wooden stick, during his freshman year at W&L. He was a wonderful stickhandler with that thing.
