Like Richard said, we should just stop caring then? Hartwick held Stevens to only eleven goals, the least they scored against any E8 team. Fisher put up the most by an E8 against Stevens. Of course Stevens beat them both (Fisher quite handily), but anything can happen. Also, Fisher is not guaranteed to beat Alfred, they only beat them 9-5 this season and they have good players. Like I said, anything can happen.

Just look back to last year, when underdog Naz beat Ithaca, then Stevens, and took the AQ, leaving the other two teams at home.

Not only that but I certainly wish that rit and Ithaca hadn't left for the liberty.

Not that long ago Fisher, Naz, Stevens were all ranked in the top 20, while Stevens might be the only team in the polls today and the Empire 8 will be a one bid conference there's still some great lacrosse to be played. Just like the masterful job by Randall in 2017 leading Naz to the AQ. Stevens is the favorite son but upsets are not uncommon in the E8 tournament.

I hope Alfred is ready for the Cardinals today. We're brimming with excitement over here

I wish the championship was in the Roc! I just won’t be able to get to NJ to see it.

Fisher handled Alfred
Stevens beat up on Hartwick

Should be an interesting matchup. But it seems like Stevens has the advantage in all categories.

Watched the 1st half of E8C on video. I turned it off at 9-1 halftime. Sounds like a heck of second half for fisher. Congrats to Stevens for the Win. Congrats to Fisher too for a great season.

You missed the best part. It was truly riveting. Better luck next year Cards. Twice now I have been to the mountain top and seen the promised land :(

Good luck Stevens in nationals

For as many players who are chosen for the all America team, how do you miss a player like Eric Schweizer? Two years in a row the guy has been a phenomenal player. At least he will play in the north south game which might be better recognition.
