Maryland vs Navy - Terps (I lied, it was the Terps all along)

BC vs Stony Brook - SBU (Spallina all but guaranteed a victory so that's good enough for me)

JMU vs Florida - Gators (I could have flipped a coin to pick this one but just have a hunch the grass in Harrisonburg is not long enough to slow down the terrible trio)

Carolina vs Northwestern - UNC (is NU's offensive renaissance enough to take down the Heels? ---- magic eight-ball says no)

BRM,

You really think anyone believed you could pick against MD?

Hah! I had the same thought: Not. A. Chance.

Though I gotta say, I love the Florida pick; serious underdog, playing away. Florida has an excellent goalie, and a lot of scoring punch. Those Pireccas are dangerous.

Yeah I knew it was a long-shot, just wanted to give Lucky an iota of an excuse to bet his heart.

Maryland v. Navy - Maryland (I think maybe Navy's ship has sailed :confusion-shrug: )

BC v. SBU - SBU (Tough slog up 95 with a Chip that size on your shoulder)

JMU v. Florida - Fla (Speed Kills :animals-dogrun: )

UNC v. Northwestern - NW (First one to 20 wins, but Klages coming off the suspension may be the wild Card)

Thanks LaxHound22.

Can we all agree that this weekend is one of the great weekends of the year??: women's D1 quarters, men's D1 and D3 quarters, and women's D3 round of 16 and quarters the next day. Jeezum.

How lucky are we?? Not only are all 8 of these teams playing great lacrosse, but all four matchups are really interesting!

Maryland v. Navy - Maryland (similar on paper, expect a great coaching battle)
BC v. SBU - Stony Brook (I don't know, I just think Stony Brook is a tougher out this year)
JMU v. Florida - JMU (height and JMU's zone will present problems for the uber-athletic Gators)
UNC v. Northwestern - UNC ('Cats could win if they make it a shootout, but if UNC slows it down forget it)

I also predict I will be wrong about at least one of those. (For partial credit?)

It’s so much more difficult now, the easiest call being Maryland. Here goes nothing-

Maryland/Navy- MARYLAND
BC/Stony Brook- STONY BROOK (I believe they want it more)
JMU/Florida- JMU (this was the hardest call for me)
UNC/Northwestern- UNC (this game will get dirty)

At this point the only real upset, in my eyes, would be Navy over Maryland. These girls are fantastic athletes, can’t wait to flip between 4 games today!

Leaving soon for the bucolic, albeit waterlogged, confines of "The Plex" in beautiful, downtown College Park, MD. Unabashedly sporting blue and gold on support of our nation's finest: THE USNA! Hoping that they can make me feel badly for choosing Your MD Terrapins in this poll...
