2019 A10 Conference

Obviously I am pulling for the Spiders to win the A10 again (been a long time since that's been said)!!! It will no doubt be a battle at the top. Richmond graduated a ton of talent, but there is plenty of power waiting in the wings. One of their top scorers (Sam Geiersbach) will be back on attack after sitting out last year with a season ending injury. The incoming class of Spiders will also be ready to roll. A bunch of the 2018 and 2019 commits got together last week for the IL Committed Tournament and beat a very talented Princeton commit team to win their division. Time will tell, but i'm looking forward to another exciting year from the A10 and hearing everyone's insights to their respective teams!!! SLF

unsubstantiated predictions for 2019. Hoping to see a shake-up in the conference, but I don't think it will happen at
the top. I believe UMass should be back with a vengeance with only Richmond to seriously challenge. I'm thinking that
the biggest battles will be in the middle of the pack with 5 teams competing for #3-7. Here are my picks:
UMass
Richmond
St. Joe's
VCU
Mason
GW
Davidson
Duquesne
LaSalle
St. Bonnie's

I tend to agree with many of your 2019 predictions, but not with your having only 2 contenders for the top. If you
remember, VCU beat UMass in season, UMass beat Richmond in season, St. Joe's had a strong year and Mason looks
to be closing the gap. I'm hoping for a dogfight among those 5 teams for the top half of the conference. Additionally,
GW showed flashes of brilliance, Davidson is always tough and Duquesne has a new coach. Round out the conference
with LaSalle and St. Bonnie's and it should make for an interesting season. The shake-out should be apparent this fall
once we see the impact of graduation, the maturity of the underclassmen, and the incoming recruits. Here's looking
forward to another fun year!

The A10 represents! Congrats to GW Goalie Jenna Oler on making the IL Women 2018 All Rookie team. Good things coming for the Colonials!

Here's another A10 high achiever: Richmond's Kim Egizi is one of only 13 athletes (and the only lax player) among all
A10 sports, to be nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year award. Best of luck Kim!

After a few years of stability in the A10 coaching ranks, in two months' time, two teams announced a search for new HCs.
Duquesne has hired and LaSalle just announced. Anyone know if other changes are coming?

Richmond has the bios for their incoming freshmen up on their website. No goalie - that's at least a couple of years without one. Maybe nobody wants to play behind Gianforte.
