Limestone 2018

So what about the Elephant in the ROOM? AKA Limestone. Think they'll be right back at it. I know Coach loves to down play the power house every year but I think they'll be back. Several losses as usual but I think they'll reload as usaul. Several horses in the barn for Coach. That being said I hope they all busted there butt's this summer and look to do the same in the fall. Otherwise Coach will be right. GO SAINTS!!!!!

Thanks for posting. My summer had been so empty without any Limestone talk - haha. On a serious note, I hear they will have a St. Louis trip on the schedule. Should be fun.

Officer Dave was well loved and always showed up at games with a big bag of blow pops for his many friends. He will be missed.

Glad I got a chance to meet Officer Dave. The kids really liked him.

I thought there were different amounts of practice for DI and DII. If so will limestone be allowed to practice more to prep for this game?

DI and DII get the same amount of hours and fall practice dates, DIII gets less hours and dates.

Plus its a fall ball game, while I'm sure they want to win, it is more about getting game experience and playing against someone else rather than trying to prepare to win a game against an opponent.

Have you ever met Bill Tierney? He would run over his own grandmother in a pick up basketball game to win.

So Stick, I'm pretty sure I can guess who you like to finish tops in the CC, but do you have any insight on the rest of the schools this year in CC? Who do you think will give Limestone a good fight?

Any updates from the Denver Stone scrimmage?

Not good. 25-10. Heard it was 3-2 end of 1st Stone. So maybe not to bad. Clarke subs early. Baptiste for Denver destroyed us on the face. Just read Denver was 18-22 at the face. Needed Old Kevey boy at this one. Aikens (Goalie) supposedly played off the hook. Thats a good sign. Will see as they say.

Anyone there with a better jist as they say?

Just found this. http://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/d ... ssic/50623

Reading the article. Sounds like it could have been much worse if not for goalie with 11 saves in the first quarter

Maciejewski and Smith did not play for Limestone. Not that it would have mattered. Limestone seemed to score when they could get the ball.

So if Reisman was still playing could of been a game.
