Early Season Games

New postby HurstLax 39 on Thu Jan 25, 2018 11:35 am

Getting close to the start of the season ... who is going where for early season games?

It looks like the Santa Barbara Tourney is on (Feb 16-18) but with fewer teams than past years. Should still be some good games tho! Are the Polo Grounds Fields all okay after the fires and mudslides? The tourney should be a help to the area economically for sure

I know that UCLA, Santa Clara, Cal Poly, Georgia, and Pitt are all playing a round robin style tourney at UCLA that same weekend.

I saw that UCF is hosting a small tourney the next weekend (Feb 24 - 25). Looks like Colorado is traveling to both SB and Orlando!! Who else is heading to Orlando?

Any other news on early season games to look out for? Figured we should get the message board back to active status!!

JMU Club will be at Duke for the UNC Chill tournament this weekend Feb 24-25. as will Duke, UNC, Delaware, Alabama, Florida State.

(tournament hosted by UNC at Duke fields as there was a field scheduling conflict at UNC)

Then JMU will be at Virginia Tech for a tournament on Mar 24-25.

and JMU will finish out the regular season at their home tournament on April 7-8.... then hopefully regionals/nationals.
