Washington State moved up to WCLA D1 so they shouldn't be in the D2 list.

Hi,
For what fall ball is worth. University of New Hampshire beat BC, Providence and Vermont. They should be considered in the top 10 in DII.
Go Wildcats!

So Washington State and Grand Canyon both moved up this year? Any other movement between divisions?
Should be really interesting to see if Grand Canyon can be a contender in their first year up, they already have one win under their belt!

I'm surprised that Delaware is as low as 6th in this poll ... and since they usually start their season late they will get left off of the early season polls but should definitely not get forgotten about!!

So after the first big week of games this is what happened for the pre-season top 20 ... I'd imagine a decent amount of movement but mostly staying within groupings when the first rankings come out. Though that won't be until next week at least.

Pre-Season Record After 2/15
1. Pittsburgh 2-2 (Beat SCU, Cal Poly, Lost UCLA, Georgia)
2. Colorado State 3-1 (Beat Arizona, UCSB, Minnesota Lost Virginia)
3. Georgia 5-1 (Beat Auburn, Clemson, UCLA, Pitt, SCU Lost Cal Poly)
4. UCLA 5-2 (Beat SDSU, UCSB, USC, Pitt Lost Georgia, Mich)
5. Santa Clara 2-3 (Beat Arizona, UCSB Lost Pitt, Mich, Georgia)
6. Delaware Club hasn't played
7. Michigan Club 4-0 (Beat Cal Poly, SDSU, SCU, UCLA)
8. Virginia Club 3-1 (Beat OregonState, Texas, Colorado State Lost BYU)
9. Boston College Club hasn't played
10. San Diego State Club 1-2 (Beat USC Lost UCLA, Mich)
11. North Carolina Club hasn't played
12. Brigham Young 4-0 (Beat UCSB, Uconn, GrandCan, Virginia)
13. Cal Poly 4-2 (Beat UCDavis, Cal, Georgia Lost Mich, Pitt
14. Colorado Club 3-1 (Beat Denver, Cal, Washington Lost Duke)
15. Grand Canyon 3-3 (Beach UCSB, USC, UCDavis, Lost BYU, Cal, St. Mary's)
16. Virginia Tech Club 2-0 (Beat Tulane, Wisconsin)
17. Central Florida 1-0 (Beat Florida)
18. James Madison Club hasn't played
19. Ohio State hasn't played
20. Utah 2-2 Beat OregonState, WestWash Lost Uconn, Duke)

Some of my thoughts:
Duke will definitely be in the top 20, maybe just outside top 10
I think Michigan will be #1, 2-6 will be a mix of Georgia, UCLA, Pitt, Delaware, Cal Poly (this is the order I would have them. And I know that Delaware can't be in the poll because they haven't played yet but thats where I'd expect them to be) 7-10 would be Boston College, BYU, Colorado State, Santa Clara (BC can't actually be in the poll because they haven't played)

It's shaping up to be a very competitive season again in the MAWLL Chesapeake as already all of the teams that have played are in the top 20 of the power rating standings. And the 2 teams that haven't played will be playing this weekend to open their season.
