Should be a nice contrast in styles. Yale buttoned up and physical, Albany free flowing and unpredictable. FOGO should be just as big a deal this coming Saturday as it was this past Sunday for the Danes. Mackie has had the better of Irelan the two times they have met. Field's going down in quarter one of the regular season game seemed to put a damper on Albany's spirits in the Bulldog win. He has been looking more and more like his old self since his return. Yale's Dmids will have their work cut out for them staying on the hands of their Dane counterparts. Yale D at its' best can match up with Nanticoke's bullish style. I expect a close hard fought contest.

Yale won't change their defensive scheme from the regular season game, unless they need to. My guess, Fake on Fields.

The only time I've watched Yale this season is when they dominated Albany, so while my enthusiasm for an Albany win is high, my confidence is low.

Looking at the numbers, recaps and reviews of games Yale has played this season I do believe Albany will win if they show up ready to play from the first whistle and Fields is at >50%.

I really do believe TD just had a really bad day in that Yale loss. That said, without taking that whipping and learning from it, I don't think he has that amazing performance vs Baptise this past Saturday.

The confidence level of TD, Reh and McClancy as a unit must be pretty high right now, hopefully that can carry that momentum into Saturday and setup a few quick goals to set the pace.

There will be learnings from the first game this year, but, you can throw the regular season game out the window as post-season and final 4 are whole other levels. While the teams have different strengths, they should be evenly matched and the team that will prevail is the one that comes out more ready to play.

How about the middle class guys at Yale and, stereotypes notwithstanding, there are a lot of them?

Middle class guys at Yale are only U.S. Senators! I wonder how the heat will affect both games? Boston shows a high of 85 degrees. Finals on Monday, high of 58 and showers. That sounds more like Albany weather.

Both Fake and Keating can cover and cause turnovers, but, I think Keating may be stronger on Nanticoke and Fake quicker on Fields. So, I agree with tech37, Fake on Fields and, therefore, Keating on Nanticoke.

I believe that Fake was on Fields until the latter's injury, then Fake covered Nanticoke; not sure how Shay will want to match up this Saturday.

It will be interesting to see if Yale's athletic and physical defence can contain Albany's #1 TN. If they can do that, it could be the margin of victory, especially if the Yale keeper has a solid day.

Albany has so many weapons that actually got stronger when Fields was laid up. Don't forget Albany has a goalie that can shut teams down as well. Should be a really good game. I tell you what, if Ierlan can control the face offs, Yale's defense can't shut down everyone. It could be a long afternoon for the Bulldogs.

My guess is Yale had a huge advantage in the regular season when Fields went down early due to UA’s limited, if any, game planning without Fields. UA now has the game plan in place to deal with whatever level of ability Fields can offer.

+1 Seriously, what ridiculous logic.

Otherwise, it's Apollo vs Dionysus: Order and reason vs ecstasy and chaos. Both teams have solid identities that have carried them a long way. It's going to be tough to see either squad lose.

No dog in this fight since mine’s a hound mix, but a healthier Fields should make this closer than the regular season game. I think one team—not sure which one—will open up a lead and pull away to win by three or so.

4-0 Yale after 4 minutes. Looks like Albany thought this was a 2:30 start.
