Some close games in the past. Will see. Big day for the Saints. The after Reisman error. I think Stone will be just fine. Any wager inbox me.

Congrats to LR. Stones pulled out a several close ones the last couple of years. It was always a game that had me worried. It’s LRs Championship. That being said I think Stone will be fine. Didn’t get to watch anyone have more detail?

17 goals? Looks like they couldn't get a stop when needed.

15 saves by Stone not terrible. 19 turnovers for Stone compared to 12 for LR. Also only 26 shots on goal compared to 32 for LR. Seems like sloppy play from the stat sheet. Downs went 20 for 31 on face offs for Stone. So it wasn’t face offs.

Btw we almost lost to LR with the dream teams so it’s not a huge shock to me to be honest.

Storier owes me a 1000 Jacob’s Ladders next practice!!! 8)

For the Stone offense too many one or zero shots and done. Force TOS a problem.

On the D side, Stone got caught out of position on a number of fast break plays for LR. Not aggressive enough at times, and let in a lot of long shots.

Some players have to step up their level of play or this will repeat next Sunday against Tampa. Practice will be quite intense after a loss like this,

Hey Red, LR has been knocking on the door for a while. Wouldn’t you agree?

Stick as you said the dream team barely escaped wasn't it 18-16 or something like that...even last year it was tight until Stone pulled away late.

Yup. The last couple of years have been nail biters. Rather lose to LR then Tampa.

Maybe, but a step below Tampa. We'll see next Sunday.

No longer on the roster. I don't have information as to the reason.

Yes big win for LR...they just win their Super Bowl. Let's see what they can do? Seton Hill look so pretty good. I meant "Big Loss" of their first team pre season midfielder All American maciejewski. Didn't play probably would have made a difference.

the "Super Bowl" hu?

There is a great article on Inside Lacrosse on the Bears big win. The first quote talks about how coach Greg Paradine told the team that they are expected to beat Limestone and to act like it was expected when you do so.

And they did exactly that.

Yes it is early.... But my oh my, this LR team is dangerous and they eye test proves it. They are physical, EXTREMELY deep, athletic and don't care about time of possession. SCORE SCORE SCORE is the mentality and this team has shooters everywhere.

Ive been waiting for years for the SAC to get into contention.... the Bears just might have become my new favorite team in D2. Watch a bears game this weekend if you can, you will be very entertained!

Was the super bowl a bad analogy?? Seems like beating the defending champs at home after never beating them would be a big win? Like winning the super bowl?

Nah it was just another game!!!

Btw I’ve always liked the scapiness of LR. They were always very physical. My type of lacrosse. But I wouldn’t go crowning champions after one game. It’s a long season. There toughest game will be this weekend against Seton Hill. Beating a #1 team then another very good team back to back is very difficult. Will see. If they do I’ll be very impressed. And yes I will be rooting for them. Congrats again to LR.

Poor Tampa. Stones going to be breathing fire after this loss.
