NAIA Spring 2016

New postby Gecco on Sun Feb 14, 2016 12:35 pm

It's time to let the old NAIA thread go and start one talking about this season. The NAIA has released it's preseason national poll. Any thoughts or opinions? Is someone too high or low? The 1st regular season ranking comes out on March 1st.

I also noticed that Laxpower has put all of the NAIA teams, other than Davenport, into the MCLA DII Power Rating.

It's a starting point and some in the top 10 ratings might be a bit generous. New league lots of new teams, hard to really judge at this time.

#4 Reinhardt (3-0) defeats #9 SCAD (0-3) 11-3.

http://www.reinhardteagles.com/news/201 ... 65510.aspx

"Reinhardt held SCAD off the scoreboard for the middle two quarters of the game as the Eagles won on the road in men's lacrosse action, 11-3, in Hardeeville, S.C. Wednesday night.

After struggling with the man-advantage against Shorter in its only loss of the season, Reinhardt (3-1) fared much better on the power play against SCAD. Six of Reinhardt's 11 goals came with the man-advantage, and for the game, the Eagles went 6-of-8 while holding SCAD to 0-of-5 on similar chances."
