Would've been nice if the users didn't have to be the ones to figure this out and communicate it.

0/10 for active and their leadership team.

Can anyone comment about whether the premium desktop version is better, worse or identical to the desktop version before Active got involved?

Has there been any change to or loss of content/functionality?

Thank you.

For Premium Users struggling with desktop access

New postby ActiveNetwork on Wed Apr 19, 2017 1:03 pm

For those of you who bought premium and are having trouble signing in/gaining access to ratings on the desktop version of LaxPower:

When you are in the LaxPower mobile app and you click on settings (under the “More” tab), does it say “sign in” at the top right of the screen?

If it does, click “sign in” and on the next screen tap “Join” at the bottom. (If you are already signed in and have purchased the premium access, it should show you your login email above the golden “PREMIUM” box)

This should allow you to create an account that will be automatically linked with your premium access. Then, you should be able to log in to the desktop version of LaxPower with the email and password you just used to create an account.

Again, if it does not say sign in at the top right corner of the settings page in the mobile app, you are already logged in and your login email will be shown above the golden PREMIUM box.

Am I missing something with the app? Is there a way to access the local scoreboard on there?

The scoreboard page (http://www.laxpower.com/common/scores.php) is one of the most important aspects of the site for me and allows me to quickly follow all of the local games. I can still access it fairly easily through the mobile webpage but it seems silly to not have such an integral part of the site built into the app.

Currently, the best way to do this within the app is:

1. Go to the home page on the LaxPower mobile app, and tap the search icon at the top right.
2. Enter the state you are interested in and tap search.
3. Scroll down to "Divisions/Conferences/States" and select the conference you are interested in.
4. Tap "Schedule" and this will bring up all of the games for every team in that conference, starting at the beginning of the season.

Unfortunately you have to scroll through every game in the schedule to get to the most recent/upcoming games. There is a new version of the app in the works in which finding these recent/upcoming games will be much easier.

Hope this helps.

Just tried the laxpower app. It appears the app/active requires an additional username and password. The credentials I enter which have gained me access the site forum for years does not appear to work.

Is this correct? we need two accounts?

Yes. The forum has a separate login. For the app, you will need to create a separate account with any email you like.
